AI credits
AI credits power every AI feature on VEXORS. Every plan includes a one-time grant, every plan can buy top-ups, and your balance is always visible in Settings.
What you'll learn
- Know which features use AI credits and how much each costs
- Check your balance and act on a low-balance warning
- Top up your credits from any plan
AI features on VEXORS do not sit behind a plan gate. They sit behind a credit balance. If you have credits, you can use them, regardless of whether you are on Explore, Grow, or Scale. This means a small team on the free plan can still run AI Scoring, draft requests with AI, and get bid insights, as long as they have credits available.
Why this matters
Keeping AI features credit-gated instead of plan-gated means you pay for what you actually use rather than paying for potential access. A company that runs three sourcing cycles a year does not need to be on Scale to use AI Scoring during those cycles. They top up when they need to and the credits are there when it matters.
What AI credits power
Each AI feature on VEXORS draws from your credit balance when you run it. The features that use credits are:
- AI Draft: generating a request title, type, category, and Bill of Quantities from a plain-language description
- Pre-publish insights: an AI review of a request before it goes live, flagging gaps in scope or requirements
- Bid Quality Coach: feedback on a bid before you submit, highlighting strengths and gaps against the request
- AI Scoring: scoring submitted bids across commercial and qualitative dimensions so you can compare them objectively
- AI Bid Insights: an analysis of a decided bid showing where it led and fell short against the others
- AI Narration on reports: a plain-language summary of your spending or sourcing data
Every feature shows its credit cost before you confirm, so there are no surprises. The cost grid on the Settings > Billing page lists current costs for each feature.
Your plan credit grant
Every plan comes with a one-time AI credit grant when you first activate it — Explore 50, Grow 300, Scale 750 credits. It is a starting balance: it does not refresh each billing period, and renewals or added seats do not add more. When it runs low, top up from Settings > Billing.
Credits from your plan grant and credits from top-ups share the same balance. There is no separate tracking between them once they are in your account.
Checking your balance
Your credit balance is shown in two places:
- In the app header, as a small counter that is always visible when you are logged in.
- On Settings > Billing, on the AI Credits card, with a larger readout and a link to your full transaction history.
When your balance is running low, the balance indicator turns amber. That is your cue to top up before the next feature run you need.
Topping up
Any plan can buy AI credit top-ups. Open Settings > Billing and select Buy Credits on the AI Credits card. Choose the pack size you want and confirm. Credits are added to your balance immediately after payment.
Top-up purchases appear in your billing history alongside your subscription invoices, so you can find receipts for them in the same place.
Only Admins can purchase credit top-ups. If you are a Member and your balance is low, let an Admin on your team know so they can top up from Settings > Billing.
Earning credits through referrals
You can also earn AI credits by referring other companies to VEXORS. When a company you referred activates a paid plan, credits are added to your balance automatically. See Referrals for how the referral program works.
