Sourcing is full of judgement calls that take time and experience: how to word a request so suppliers understand it, which questions actually separate a good supplier from a weak one, whether a bid is competitive, where your spend is drifting. VEXORS puts an AI assistant next to each of those moments. It never makes the decision for you. It does the first draft, the comparison, or the read of the data, and leaves the decision in your hands.

This page is the map. It lists every AI tool on the platform, what each one does in plain terms, where you trigger it, and how it is paid for. Each tool also has its own deep-dive guide linked below.

Why this matters

The AI on VEXORS is not a single chatbot bolted onto the side. It is a set of focused assistants, each built for one specific job in the sourcing cycle and placed exactly where that job happens. That is why a request drafter lives in the request wizard and a bid coach lives in the bid wizard. You never go looking for the AI. It is already where the work is.

How AI is paid for

Two simple rules cover almost everything.

  • Most AI tools use AI credits. You have a credit balance, every plan starts with a credit grant, and any plan can top up. Each tool shows its cost before you confirm, and a failed run is never charged. Full detail is in AI credits.
  • AI Scoring is available on every plan. Like the other AI tools it uses AI credits — 20 per scoring run, charged once however many bids you score.

Access is by credit balance, not by plan, for most tools. A team on the free Explore plan can draft a request with AI, get a pre-publish review, run AI Scoring, and read its bid insights, as long as they have credits. A few tools need a higher plan, and they are noted in the table below.

The AI toolkit, step by step

When you are buying

  1. AI RFQ Drafter, in the request wizard

Describe what you need in plain language and the drafter fills in a starting request: title, type, category, and a first Bill of Quantities for you to refine. The fastest way to go from a blank page to a working draft. See AI RFQ Drafter.

  2. Questionnaire Assistant, in the questionnaire step

Scale Once you set a category, the assistant suggests supplier qualification questions tailored to it, with answer types and weighting already proposed. You add the ones you want. See Questionnaire Assistant.

  3. Pre-Publish Insights, on the review step

Before you publish, get an AI read of your request: gaps in scope, an unclear requirement, a tight timeline, a thin supplier pool. Advisory only, never blocking. See Pre-Publish Insights.

  4. AI Supplier Matching, in Discover and the wizard

Give it a category and your request, and it ranks suppliers by how well they fit, each with a fit score and a reason. The Discover view needs the Grow plan or higher; the Explore plan sees a locked preview. See AI Supplier Matching.

  5. AI Scoring, on the bids tab

Available on every plan; uses AI credits. Scores every submitted bid against your Bill of Quantities and questionnaire, so you compare on a like-for-like basis instead of by eye. Covered in Review bids and AI Scoring.

  6. AI Spend Summary and Partner Intelligence

On Reports, AI Spend Summary gives a plain-language read of your spend over a period with the patterns and risks called out — it is part of the Scale plan. On any plan, Partner Intelligence assesses partnership fit from a supplier's profile. See AI Spend Summary and Partner Intelligence.

When you are bidding

  1. Bid Quality Coach, in the bid wizard

Before you submit, the coach reviews your bid for completeness and compliance gaps, flags anything that would weaken it, and suggests improvements. Blockers stop a broken submission before it goes out. Covered in Bid Quality Coach.

  2. AI Bid Insights, after a bid is decided

When a bid is not selected, open its insights to see how yours compared to the others on price, delivery, and compliance, where you led and where you trailed, and what to change next time. The buyer never sees this. See AI Bid Insights.

  3. AI Bid Analysis, on Reports

Scale A narrative of your bidding performance over time: win rate, how your pricing compares, your response speed, with concrete suggestions to improve. See AI Bid Analysis.

  4. Supplier Summary, on the leaderboard

Scale A summary of your standing across the requests you compete in, with your strongest opportunities and where you are losing ground. See Supplier Summary.

What the AI does and does not do

What to expect from the AI

Every tool is an assistant, not an autopilot. The drafter writes a draft you edit. Scoring ranks bids you still choose between. Insights point out a gap you decide how to act on. Nothing is published, submitted, or awarded by the AI. You stay in control of every decision, and the suppliers on the other side only ever see your final, human choices, never the AI's working.

Getting the most from it

  • Treat AI output as a strong first draft, not a final answer. The drafter and the questionnaire assistant save you the blank-page problem, but your edits are what make the request yours.
  • Keep some credits in reserve so a tool is there when a deadline is close. The balance indicator turns amber when you are running low.
  • Run the advisory tools early. Pre-Publish Insights before you publish and Bid Quality Coach before you submit both catch problems while you can still fix them cheaply.
