Buyers on VEXORS evaluate suppliers using two signals before reading a single line of a bid: your Trust Score and whether you are Verified. A buyer choosing between a supplier with a complete, verified profile and one with a half-filled profile will look more carefully at the first one, even if both bids are equally priced. Trust Score is how the platform tells that story on your behalf.

Why this matters

Many buyers filter their shortlists to Verified suppliers only, or sort by Trust Score before opening any bids. That means a low score or an absent Verified badge removes you from consideration before the buyer has read a word you wrote. Investing in your profile is not cosmetic, it is the prerequisite for being evaluated on merit.

On the free Explore plan, buyers see counterparty Trust Scores only partially. Full score and badge visibility comes with Grow and Scale.

What the Trust Score reflects

Your Trust Score is calculated from a few factors, each within your control.

InputWhat it measuresHow to improve it
Profile completenessHow complete your company profile is, description, logo, categories, location, contact details.Fill in every field in Settings under Company. Add a logo. Add at least three specific categories.
Verified statusWhether VEXORS has confirmed that your company details are accurate.Complete the verification process under Settings. The badge lasts two years.
ResponsivenessHow quickly you respond to invitations, confirm participation, and reply to Chat messages.Check Invitations daily. Reply to buyer messages within 24 hours. Confirm or decline invitations rather than ignoring them.
Delivery historyWhether you complete the contracts you are awarded and meet agreed terms.Deliver on every contract you win. If something changes, communicate with the buyer before the deadline, not after.
Buyer ratingsThe ratings buyers leave after completed contracts. Both process and performance ratings count.Do good work and ask buyers to rate. Every completed contract is a rating opportunity.
For a full technical explanation of how the score is calculated, see the Understanding your Trust Score guide.

Getting Verified

Getting Verified is the single highest-impact action most suppliers can take. The Verified badge signals to buyers that you are a real, accountable company, not an anonymous listing.

  1. Start verification in Settings

Go to Settings and open the Company section. You will see a verification status card at the top. If you are not yet verified, click Start verification and follow the steps.

The verification process confirms that the company name, registration number, and business address on your profile match official records. Have those details ready before you start.

  2. Complete the verification steps

You will be asked to confirm your company details and upload a supporting document, typically a trade licence, company registration certificate, or equivalent depending on your country.

Once submitted, the review takes place on the platform's side. You receive a notification when your Verified status is confirmed or if there is anything that needs correction.

After approval, the Verified badge appears on:

    • Your company profile in Discover
    • Your company name next to every bid you submit
    • Search results where buyers are filtering by Verified suppliers

The badge is valid for two years from the date of approval. You will be prompted to renew before it expires.

  3. Check your score after getting verified

After verification is confirmed, go to your company profile and check your Trust Score. Verification typically produces a visible improvement in your score because it unlocks the full profile completeness calculation and adds the Verified signal directly.

If your score does not move as much as expected, the next step is usually completing remaining profile fields, particularly categories, a company description, and a logo, which are the other major inputs to the profile completeness component.

Building your score through responsiveness

Your Trust Score is not just a one-time setup. It reflects ongoing behaviour on the platform.

Respond to invitations promptly. When a buyer sends you a direct invitation to a request, their notification shows your response time. Accepting or declining quickly, ideally within 24 hours, signals that you are an active, engaged supplier. Ignoring invitations pushes down your responsiveness signal.

Reply to Chat messages. Buyers who send messages through Chat on a request or an active bid expect a response within a working day. A supplier who leaves Chat messages unanswered is a risk in the buyer's mind.

Confirm or decline, never ignore. When you receive an invitation you cannot pursue, declining it is always better than leaving it in limbo. Declining never affects your Trust Score, and it keeps the buyer's invitation tab accurate.

Delivering on contracts you win

Your delivery track record on the platform is one of the most durable inputs to your Trust Score. It reflects what buyers experienced when working with you, not what you promised in a bid.

A single delivery problem handled well

You win a contract and encounter a supply delay midway through. You message the buyer immediately through Chat to explain the situation, propose a revised delivery date, and deliver on the revised commitment. The buyer rates your process as strong because of how you communicated, even though the delivery was late. Your Trust Score remains healthy because the rating reflects the full engagement, not just the timing.

What matters is not perfection but accountability. Buyers who feel that a supplier communicated honestly and resolved problems fairly tend to give strong ratings even when things did not go entirely as planned.

Earning strong buyer ratings

After each completed contract, the buyer can rate your company on two stages: the process (how you engaged during sourcing) and the performance (how you delivered after the award). Both stages feed into your Trust Score.

You cannot control what a buyer rates, but you can control the inputs to that rating:

  • Deliver what you committed to in your bid, at the price and timeline you committed to.
  • Communicate proactively about any change before the buyer has to chase you.
  • Be professional and responsive in every Chat exchange.
  • Ask the buyer to complete the rating after the delivery is done. Some buyers forget, and a polite reminder through Chat is entirely appropriate.
What the buyer sees

After awarding a contract and receiving the delivery, the buyer is prompted to rate the supplier on two stages. They see a timeline showing which stages are due and when. A buyer who has a good delivery experience almost always completes both stages. A buyer who had to chase the supplier for updates often rates the process stage lower even when the final delivery was acceptable.

What good looks like

  • Get verified before you submit your first bid. The Verified badge appears next to your company name on every bid. Buyers notice its absence.
  • Add specific categories, not broad ones. "Manufacturing" is too broad. "Structural steel fabrication" tells both the scoring system and searching buyers exactly what you do.
  • Upload a company logo. A profile without a logo reads as incomplete regardless of how good the written content is.
  • Rate every buyer you work with. Ratings are bidirectional. A supplier who consistently rates buyers tends to receive more ratings back, building a richer trust profile over time.
  • Never leave an invitation unanswered. Confirm or decline. An unanswered invitation is a missed opportunity to signal that you are an active, reliable supplier.
