AI Bid Analysis
On your supplier Reports, an AI narrative of your bidding performance over a period you choose: win rate, how your pricing compares, your response speed, and quality trends, with concrete suggestions to improve.
What you'll learn
- Turn your raw bid numbers into a plain-language read of how you are doing
- See where your pricing, speed, and quality help or hurt your win rate
- Know what each analysis costs and when a read is free
Your Reports already show the numbers: how many bids you submitted, how many you won, where your prices landed. But numbers on a chart do not tell you what to do differently. Is your win rate low because your pricing is off, because you are slow to respond, or because your quality scores trail the field? Reading that out of a dashboard takes time and a good eye, and most suppliers never quite get to it.
AI Bid Analysis does the reading for you. On your supplier Reports, it writes a plain-language narrative of your bidding performance over a period you choose: your win rate, how your pricing compares to the competition, how quickly you respond, and how your quality is trending, followed by concrete suggestions for what to improve. It is the difference between a chart and a coach. The chart shows you where you stand; the analysis tells you why, and what to do about it.
Why this matters
Winning more work is rarely about one big change. It is about noticing a pattern: that you price well but respond late, or respond fast but score low on quality. Those patterns are sitting in your bid history already, but they are hard to see one bid at a time. AI Bid Analysis reads the whole period at once and names the pattern, so your next bid is shaped by what actually moves your win rate.
Where it lives and who can use it
AI Bid Analysis is part of the supplier analytics on your Reports page, and those analytics are a Scale-plan feature. On Explore and Grow you see your core bid performance summary, but the bid trends, benchmarks, and the AI narrative are reserved for Scale. If you are on a lower plan, the Reports page shows you what is available on Scale and a link to upgrade.
If you are on Scale, the analysis card sits at the top of your supplier Reports, ready to generate.
When to use it
Reach for AI Bid Analysis when you want to understand your bidding as a whole, not bid by bid. It is most useful when:
- You have submitted enough bids over a period to see a trend, and want to know what that trend says.
- Your win rate has moved, up or down, and you want the likely reasons rather than a guess.
- You are about to change your approach, on pricing or responsiveness, and want a read on where the real gap is first.
If you have only submitted one or two bids, there is not yet a pattern to narrate. The analysis is at its best across a run of bids over a meaningful window.
What it uses
AI Bid Analysis uses AI credits. It shows its cost before you confirm, on a short confirmation screen, so you decide with the number in front of you. A run that fails for any reason is never charged. And once an analysis exists for a period, reading it again is free: VEXORS saves the result, so you can refresh the page, come back tomorrow, or hand it to a teammate without spending again. You only spend credits when you generate a new analysis or regenerate one.
New to how AI is paid for? AI credits covers your plan grant, top-ups, and where to check your balance. Every AI tool on VEXORS, including this one, draws from that one balance.
Generating an analysis, start to finish
The analysis sits at the top of your supplier Reports. Here is the full flow.
Choose your period on Reports
Open Reports from the sidebar and choose the period you want to look at, using the period selector at the top: a preset window or a custom date range. The analysis reads the same window as the charts below it, so what you select frames everything, including the narrative.
If you pick a custom range, set both the start and end dates before generating. The analysis waits until the window is complete.
Generate the analysis and confirm the cost
Select Generate on the analysis card. A confirmation screen shows the credit cost and your current balance before anything runs, so you decide with the number visible. Confirm to generate, or close it to adjust your period first.
If your balance is below the cost, the action is held and you are prompted to top up. Topping up is an Admin action, so a Member with a low balance is pointed to ask an Admin rather than being charged.
Read the narrative and the suggestions
When it is ready, the card fills with a written narrative of your performance for the period: your win rate, how your pricing compared, your response speed, and your quality trend, in plain language. Below it, a Recommendations list gives concrete, specific suggestions for what to change next.
You can copy the analysis or download it as a text file to share with your team. A line at the bottom shows the data date the read is based on.
Regenerate when your data moves on
The analysis is tied to the exact period you selected. If you change the period, the old narrative clears so a stale read never sits next to a new window, and you generate fresh for the new range.
For the same period, a Regenerate option re-runs the analysis with your latest bid data, which uses AI credits again. Reach for it after you have submitted more bids in the window and want the read updated. A simple reload, by contrast, just shows the saved analysis again for free.
What good looks like
The analysis is most valuable when you act on it. A few habits make the difference:
- Read the recommendations as your to-do list for the next bid, not as commentary. Each one points at a lever you can actually pull.
- Pick a window wide enough to hold a real pattern. A month or a quarter usually shows more than a single week.
- When the narrative names a weak spot, pricing, speed, or quality, check it against your own memory of recent bids. The pattern it names is usually the one to fix first.
- Regenerate after a batch of new bids, not after every single one. The read sharpens as the sample grows.
From a flat win rate to a clear fix
A supplier with a stubborn 30% win rate runs the analysis over the last quarter. The narrative confirms their pricing is competitive but flags that on lost bids they consistently responded two or three days after the request opened. The recommendation is direct: respond within the first day in their strongest categories. They start watching their opportunity feed more closely, respond faster on the next run, and their win rate climbs, with no change to their pricing at all.
What buyers see
Buyers never see your bid analysis, and never know you ran one. It reads only your own bidding history and is private to you and your team. Generating it has no effect on any bid you have submitted, on your standing, or on how buyers evaluate you. It is your private coaching view, nothing more.
What comes next
The analysis points at patterns; the detail lives in your individual bids. Use it to set a direction, then work through your recent bids to act on it, especially the ones you lost, where the gap is clearest.
