Supplier Summary
On the supplier leaderboard, an AI summary of your standing across the requests you compete in over a period you choose: your strongest opportunities, the gaps, and the trends worth acting on.
What you'll learn
- Read a plain-language summary of how you stack up across your live competition
- See your strongest positions and the gaps worth closing in one place
- Know what a summary costs and when a saved one is free to read
On the supplier leaderboard you can see where you rank across the requests you are competing in: your win rate, your standing against other suppliers, the trends over time. It is a rich view, but reading it well takes effort. Which positions are genuinely strong? Where are you slipping? What is the one trend that matters most this period? Those answers are in the table, but pulling them out is a job in itself.
Supplier Summary does that read for you. On the supplier leaderboard, it writes a plain-language summary of your standing across the requests you compete in over a period you choose: your strongest opportunities, the gaps worth closing, and the trends worth acting on. Instead of scanning rows and holding it all in your head, you get a short, written brief that names what is working and what is not.
Why this matters
Competing well is not just about each individual bid; it is about understanding your position across all of them at once. That whole-picture view is exactly what is hardest to hold in your head from a table of numbers. Supplier Summary reads the leaderboard for you and names the few things that actually matter this period, so you spend your attention on acting, not on analysing.
Where it lives and who can use it
Supplier Summary sits on the supplier leaderboard, inside your Reports. It is a Scale-plan feature. On Explore and Grow the summary card shows as a locked preview with a short tagline and a link to upgrade, so you can see what it offers; the working summary itself is reserved for Scale.
On Scale, the summary card is live and ready to generate at the top of the leaderboard.
When to use it
Reach for Supplier Summary when you want the big picture of your competitive position, not a single row. It is most useful when:
- You compete across several requests and want to know, overall, where you are strong and where you are not.
- Your standing has shifted over a period and you want the trend named rather than inferred.
- You want a short, shareable read of your position to bring into a team conversation.
If you are only active on one or two requests, the leaderboard itself tells the whole story. The summary earns its keep when there is a spread of competition to make sense of.
What it uses
Supplier Summary uses AI credits, and it shows its cost on the card before you generate. A run that fails for any reason is never charged. Once a summary exists for a period, reading it again is free: VEXORS saves the result, so reloading the page or coming back later shows the same summary without spending. You only spend credits when you generate a new summary or regenerate one.
New to how AI is paid for? AI credits covers your plan grant, top-ups, and where to check your balance. Every AI tool on VEXORS, including this one, draws from that one balance.
Generating a summary, start to finish
The summary card sits at the top of the supplier leaderboard. Here is the full flow.
Open the leaderboard and set your period
Open Reports and go to the supplier Leaderboard. Choose the period you want the summary to cover, using the period selector. The summary reads the same window as the leaderboard, so the period you pick frames the whole brief.
Generate the summary and confirm the cost
Select Generate on the summary card. The card shows the credit cost before you run, so you decide with the number in front of you. If your balance is too low, the action is held and you are prompted to top up first.
While it runs, the card shows a brief loading state, then fills with your summary.
Read the summary, highlights, and risk flags
The summary fills in as a short written read of your standing for the period. Below it, two sections sharpen the picture:
- Highlights: the positions where you are strongest, your best opportunities across the period.
- Risk Flags: the gaps and slipping trends worth your attention.
A line at the bottom shows when the summary was generated, so you always know how current it is.
Regenerate when your position moves on
The summary is tied to the period you selected. Change the period and the old summary clears, so a stale read never sits next to a new window; generate fresh for the new range.
For the same period, a Regenerate option re-runs the summary with your latest leaderboard data, which uses AI credits again. Reach for it when your standing has changed materially since the last run. A plain reload just shows the saved summary again for free.
What good looks like
The summary is a direction-setter. A few habits get the most from it:
- Treat the Risk Flags as your priority list. They are where your competitive position is most exposed.
- Use the Highlights to decide where to lean in. The categories where you are strongest are usually where the next win is easiest.
- Pick a period wide enough to show a trend. A quarter usually reveals more than a single week.
- Regenerate after your position has genuinely shifted, not after every result. The read is clearest across a settled window.
Spotting the slip before it costs a quarter
A supplier strong in industrial supplies runs the summary over the last quarter. The Highlights confirm a top-three standing in their core category, but a Risk Flag names a quietly slipping win rate on fit-out requests, something the row-by-row leaderboard had not made obvious. They refocus on their strongest categories and rebuild their fit-out pricing before the slide turns into a lost quarter.
What others see
Your Supplier Summary is private to you and your team. It reads your own competitive standing and is never shown to buyers or to other suppliers. Generating it has no effect on your ranking, your bids, or how anyone evaluates you. It is your own read of where you stand, nothing more.
What comes next
The summary tells you where to push. Acting on it usually means strengthening the things that drive standing in the first place: a fuller profile, a stronger Trust Score, and sharper bids in your best categories.
